It is always easier to deal with a problem in the surgery. If you are too ill to attend, telephone the surgery before 10.30am and please be prepared to give details of your condition.
Please do not request a home visit unless the patient is genuinely too ill to come to surgery. If the patient has a temperature or rash, coming to the surgery will do no harm and will not endanger others, but please inform the receptionist upon arrival.
Whilst we understand that some patients may have transport difficulties, this is not in itself a sufficient reason to request a home visit.
